Kristin Loyde, MS, ALC

My name is Kristin Loyde, I am an associate's License Counselor in Huntsville, AL. In 2017, I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!)  in Communicative Science Disorder with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies.

In 2022, I received my master's degree from Walden University in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. During my internship, I gained experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and expecting mothers in various settings of counseling.  

 

My passion is working with individuals and families to help build confidence and improve family dynamics. Also, assisting individuals/children express their feelings and needs in a safe environment through Cognitive Behavioral approaches is a priority. I am a believer in play being a positive and less threatening way to explore and process emotions. I am a strong believer in children feeling safe, seen, and heard. 

 

I am a proud mother of a beautiful, personality-filled toddler and I have the chance to share my life with my high school sweetheart. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends! Whenever I get the chance, I seek new places to travel to create long-lasting memories with the people I love. As we get to know each other I hope we can become family and create long-lasting memories and relationships!

 

Working with children brings me a lot of joy.
